Mattress Donation
If your mattress still has some life left in it, we route it to local donation partners instead of the landfill – giving it a second home instead of taking up space in one. Book a pickup and we handle the rest.
Book Your Pickup →How Mattress Donation Works
Donation is not a separate booking – it is what happens to your mattress after pickup, when it qualifies.
You Book Like Normal
Book Curbside or Full-Service pickup the same way as any mattress removal. There is no separate “donation” price – it is the same booking process.
We Assess the Condition
Clean, gently-used mattresses in good condition are prioritized for donation to local partners. Worn, stained, or damaged items are routed to recycling instead.
Every booking includes a $50 item minimum and a $4.50 service fee, the same as any Curbside or Full-Service pickup.
What Makes a Mattress Donatable
Donation partners generally accept mattresses and box springs that are clean, free of major stains or damage, and structurally sound. If your mattress fits that description, we will do our best to route it to a local charity instead of a landfill or recycling facility.
One firm exception: we cannot remove or donate any mattress with a known or suspected bed bug infestation, without exception, for the safety of our crew and future recipients.
Why Donation Matters to Us
Mattress Removers is a community-based, locally owned service – donation is part of how we put that into practice. Recycling capacity in Arizona is limited, and facilities often operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so a mattress that finds a second home through donation is one less mattress competing for that limited capacity, and one less mattress in the landfill. We actively work with local charities and donation programs to make that happen as often as we can.
“Loved that they mentioned donating it instead of just tossing it. Felt good knowing it might actually help someone.” – Verified Google Review

Book Your Pickup →Mattress Donation FAQ
Does donation cost less than a regular pickup?
No – pricing is the same as any Curbside or Full-Service booking, starting at $50 and $90. Donation is a disposal outcome, not a separate pricing tier.
Can I request that my mattress be donated?
We always prioritize donation first for any mattress in clean, gently-used condition – you do not need to request it. Note any relevant details at booking and we will take it into account.
What condition does my mattress need to be in?
Clean, free of major stains or damage, and structurally sound. Worn or damaged mattresses are routed to recycling instead of donation.
What if my mattress does not qualify for donation?
We route it to a local recycling facility instead, working to recover materials whenever capacity allows. Either way, it is picked up the same way at the same price.
Do you accept mattresses with bed bugs for donation?
No – we cannot remove any mattress with a known or suspected bed bug infestation, without exception, regardless of its condition otherwise.
